The location of the hotel was perfect for a peaceful and secluded getaway. The surrounding nature and bush setting added to the relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the local environment, providing great tips and recommendations. The fact that there was no mains power allowed for a truly uninterrupted and technology-free experience. Being able to charge devices at reception was a convenient solution. The gas kitchen worked well and allowed us to cook our own meals. The local walks in the area were enjoyable and not too difficult, with interesting signage along the way.

The price we paid for our accommodation felt a bit overpriced, especially considering the lack of amenities and basics in the cabin. The absence of power outlets in the cabin was inconvenient, as we couldn't charge our mobile devices or use a hair dryer.

the location was perfect, with the convenience of being close to all that the Huon Valley has to offer. the room was cozy and well, heated, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. I also enjoyed the serene outdoor bath on the balcony, where I could relax in complete tranquility. the owners were welcoming and the service was top, notch. the interpretive bush walks were informative and allowed me to fully immerse myself in the wilderness.

I did find that the bathroom facilities were not as modern or updated as I would have liked.

The access road can be tricky to navigate, especially for larger vehicles.
